Principal Database Consultant/Evangelist – SQL – London – to £90K DOE – J11221

We are currently working closely with a highly respected and rapidly growing consulting firm to recruit a Principal Database Consultant/Evangelist. They work with some of the most exciting organisations in the world to solve complex challenges with the intelligent use of data. This is supported by growing and developing incredibly bright junior professionals into data experts. This opportunity is for a Principal Consultant for the SQL database and data modelling specialism across a fast growing team of over 400 data consultants and 70+ clients.

We need individuals who live and breathe Data Engineering, technology and people development. Solving complex problems with the intelligent use of data is second nature. Working with some of the most dynamic, ethically responsible and visible brands on the planet, you will help develop the next generation of Data Engineer! The role will be 50% consulting & delivery and 50% training & developing of the next generation .

Experience & Skills Required

• Genuine enthusiasm for developing, training and mentoring junior consultants
• Deep knowledge and experience collaborating and leading in modern data teams with skills aligned with their tech-stack of:

oRDBMS, Data Lake and Cloud Data Warehouse
oSQL – PostgreSQL, MSSQL, MySQL etc.
oNoSQL – Document and Graph
oVery strong data modelling
oModern ETL / ELT
oDevOps / CICD pipelines
oTest automation
