Our client is a leading boutique data consultancy providing some of Europe’s most respected brands with cutting edge data solutions. Their reputation is built on delivering end-to-end data solutions at the highest quality, from data strategy and architecture to analytics, predictive modelling, business intelligence, and data visualisation.

They are looking for a junior to mid-level candidate who will form an integral part of their data and analytics team, focusing primarily on data visualisation. They will be expected to work on a variety of projects across multiple clients as part of the team. They should have a real eye for data visualisation and be looking to develop quickly in this space, working with a variety of BI tools to grow their experience and portfolio.
The role will be reporting into the Data Visualisation Lead and will be working alongside Analytical and Technical teams to deliver collaborative, high-quality solutions.

There is an exciting development path for this role, with exposure to all levels of our organisation and opportunities to experience all elements of the project lifecycle, from inception through to delivery.

Requirements for the role:

Personality is very important to the business. They are looking for inquisitive and adaptable people. The nature of the business dictates that they must be capable of multi-tasking and working at pace.

The role requires a passion and flair for data visualisation, with a clear vision for design and usability of apps in order to tell the story of the data in support of the client’s needs. Desire to develop as a BI Developer is essential, in addition to:

• Proactive, dynamic, driven by delivering quality work
• Hands on experience developing data visualisation apps using commonly known BI tools
• Tableau, Power BI or QlikView/Sense Development essential
• SQL coding experience (desirable)
• Good Excel skills essential
• Experience using large data platforms (desirable)
• Able to present complex information in an interesting way to a variety of audiences
• Communication & relationship building
